With the project ‘Città Suono’, Standards launches a didactic and cultural platform, with new educational projects devoted to the experimentation of sound and performing arts. The programme, running from September 2018 to April 2019 intends to continue and implement Standards’ artistic journey as a centre devoted to international research and cultural promotion, offering a scheduling of events interested in all contemporary expressions of sound. The aim of the project, together with other events curated by Standards, is to bring a broader and more diversified audience closer to the experience of sound, through an inclusive and innovative cultural offer.
INFO AND EVENTS PROGRAMME
This didactic platform is thought for a heterogeneous audience – specifically for children aged 8-11 and teenagers. It features a series of workshops based on the relationship between space and us, the participants’ inventive capacity, and on the interaction between the body and the auditive properties of objects and materials. A series of non-academic and open seminars regarding the aesthetic of sound as an open and relational process have also been conceived to be a platform for debates.

ABOUT TERZO PAESAGGIO
Terzo Paesaggio is a non-profit cultural association, which promotes new forms of expressions related to sound, performing and visual arts, by foregrounding interdisciplinarity as a method and perspective for its activities and projects. Since 2012, the association has realised several cultural projects, with the support and collaboration of public and private institutions, contributing to the social and urban qualification of the Italian and Milanese territory. Among the projects supported by Terzo Paesaggio that have expressed a synergetic and innovative approach to the presentation of experimental sound arts we find: Inner Spaces, a series of concerts produced in collaboration with San Fedele Musica, the independent project S/V/N Savana and MASH festival – New Hybriad Sounds and Visions.
