Sound Performances in the Public Space
For each event, the INDOOR/OUTDOOR programme presents two performances by one or more artists, sometimes involving the direct participation of the audience. The first part of the performance will take place outdoors, in the Bovisa/Dergano area, whereas the second part will take place indoors, at Standards. Through the experimentation of sound and of its relational aspect, this programme will provide an opportunity to explore the surrounding area through performances and site-specific practices.

Critical sound paths in the public space
In 2019, the two INDOOR/OUTDOOR events will happen in two formats: artist residency and workshop and they will both put into relation the art space with its ‘outside’, intended as urban space and external network. Thanks to the artists’ social inquiry of the Dergano/Bovisa area, which will look at the relationship between art space and the network in which it is situated, the output of the two appointments will make the dialogue between Standards and its local community explicit.
