Performances and workshops regarding the relationship between film and sound practices

The Live Cinema series is the result of the collaboration between Standards and Unzalab and it refers to an emerging and little-explored practice that compares and brings film experimentation, sound arts and performance together. In these three sessions, the aesthetic and practice of listening will be completed by the aesthetic and practice of vision and vice versa, in a unique performative moment, which intends to blur the boundaries between sound and visual practices and open a space dedicated to the specificity of both. For each episode, we invited a series of international guests, who will present their own research through a live public performance and through a theory and practice-based workshop. (at Unzalab)
