Talks regarding sound
This series of events proposes different talks with several authors who will be invited to present their own research and discuss some topics concerning the experience of sound. Their common denominator will be the research regarding the perception of sound, intended as a relational and complex process, as an embedded and mobile entity, in strong relation with specific socio-political contexts. The seminars are meant to be open discussions and debates – and not academic lectures- expanding the dynamics of Standards’ cultural and sound offer. Featuring again a seminary-based approach, the events programmed for 2019 will also be characterised by a strong experiential element; both appointments will happen in 2 days, combining a workshop-based part with a more theoretical one.
